The Opportunity

Customer Care Operations Specialist – Plantation, FL

Salary starting at $45,000 per year

 

We are seeking to add a Customer Care Operations Specialist to our team in Plantation, FL. Our Operations Specialists are responsible for maintaining and updating information within our agency database. In addition, they provide support to our Underwriters, Accounting, and Operations team regarding changes and reporting needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Insurance experience is preferred. Previous experience using AIM and Imageright is a plus!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update the agency database
  • Ensure all information is accurate within the agency database; take further action to rectify any issues identified.
  • Provide Agent assistant with mergers and acquisitions; reporting and ensuring all legal documents are examined, details reviewed and actions taken are within state, federal, and internal compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain and update company and product databases
  • Follow carrier guidelines in regards to product details, commission structures, templates, statistical information and terms; ensure all information is accurate and available for our Underwriters and Assistants
  • Assist Underwriters with agency updates, reporting, new market builds, etc.
  • Support to Accounting and Operation departments with workflow assistance
  • Partner with the IT Department to resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate with the IT Development team in the designing of new platforms, reporting tools, and databases.

 

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required; or four years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with AIM and Imageright programs are preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills are a must
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a commitment to company values
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Must be proficient in Excel)
